ARABSAT (Stand C1-1)

Founded in 1976 and ranked as the world’s 9th largest satellite operator. ND Satcom (Stand B1-21)

Come see SkyRAY Light, ND SatCom’s mobile VSAT antenna subsystem for real-time IP based communication via satellite. The transmit-and-receive antenna subsystem supports mobile IP based VSAT and SNG applications. It is the most lightweight mobile antenna system in its class which can be mounted quickly on standard roof bars of any passenger car, truck or SUV without modifications. MITEQ (Stand Z-17)

MITEQ will introduces another industry first at CABSAT 2008. The 1/3 rack family of products. These include block upconverters, block downconverters, test loop translators and 1:1 redundant switchover units. The 1/3 rack platform provides flexible configurations for use in many earth station terminals while only using 1 RU of rack space.

Wafa (L-2)

Wafa will introduce HX VSAT modem at CABSAT 2008.Whose features includes: 1 Msps return links (with up to 2 Msps later), Enhanced Quality of Service (QoS), Guaranteed bit rate services – Constant Bit Rate (CBR) Service. On the outlink, the modulation of the DVB-S2 carrier and varies all the time from QPSK to 8-PSK with assorted FEC rates to suit the link margins at each individual remote VSAT terminal, thus giving an increase in bit rate in clear sky conditions. HX VSATs have a feature called AIS (Automatic Inroute Selection) which also adjusts FEC and symbol rate. Thus allowing the fade margin to be used to provide more bandwidth.
