    Vision QMD/X & Octane Multi-Definition Production Switchers
    The Vision Series is Ross' flagship line of production switchers designed to handle the most sophisticated and demanding productions. Vision offers a wide range of control panel sizes and both a small and large video processing chassis. The small QMD chassis offers up to 48 inputs and 4 MLEs in a compact 3RU. The large QMD-X Octane chassis offers up to 96 inputs and an unprecedented 8 MEs in 8RU. Both chassis offer 4-keyer MLEs with 6 keyers downstream.

    CrossOver Production Switchers
    CrossOver is Ross' line of single MLE production switchers designed for compact studios, outside broadcast vehicles, edit suites and flight packs. Compact, tough, and powerful, the CrossOver Series includes the CrossOver 6, 12, and 16. Highlights of all switchers include internal up/down conversion, animation stores, UltraChrome Chroma keying, internal reference generators, 2D DVEs, a standalone 2RU chassis, and AI Memory recalls. The CrossOver 16 adds Macros, mnemonic indicators, and more.

    XPression 3D Character Generator
    XPression is a high end 3D Character Generator that can handle the most demanding applications. XPression offers real time layering and animation of 3D models, 2D and 3D text, rendered animations, live video and web content. Designed for the graphic designer, programmer, and on air operator, XPression advances the look of productions, making it easy to create, manage, and get to air. As a data-driven system, XPression is able to integrate real time data into 3D graphics and animations with live connections to spreadsheets, databases, RSS feeds, newsroom editorial systems and other live data sources.

    SoftMetal Video Servers
    SoftMetal Video Servers offer a flexible clip and graphics play out server for use in production or master control applications. SoftMetal is Available in 36 different configurations – 18 standard definition models and 18 multi-definition models. SoftMetal control is based on a client/server architecture with the client side applications written in Java and able to run on Mac, PC or Linux computers. IT components are used throughout SoftMetal with features such as mirrored system drives, RAID 5 protected media drives, redundant power supplies and hot swappable mid-chassis system fans.
