"CABSAT's DrDishTV Awards" is a yearly event to recognize quality products, professional services and genuine ideas in the field of digital television and communication technology via satellite.

The event is organized by DrDish Television – the first and only independent TV station for media and communication technology, in cooperation CABSAT – the Middle East International Cable, Satellite, Broadcast and Communications Exhibition.

"CABSAT's DrDishTV Awards" was based on submission and is open to CABSAT Exhibitors that deals with products and services for digital television and satellite communication technology (including hardware, software and services).

The submission was judged by a panel of international experts which ensures that the final results are based on diverse opinions and backgrounds.

49 companies were nominated and only 10 winners will be announced in a special gala dinner organized by CABSAT 2008 on 4 March 7:30 pm. The ceremony will be by invitations only.
