Martin Salter, a Chartered Engineer is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology, Member of The Royal Television Society, SMPTE and Member of the IEEE.
Currently Salter is Chairman of the Moscow CSTB Conference and Director of the Singapore based BroadcastAsia Conference and has until recently chaired the IBC conference committee, where he still participates in an active role. Prior to his current consultant activities, Salter has held positions as Director of Strategic Marketing for Philips Digital Video Systems following a similar position as Director of Marketing for Ampex - Europe, Africa and the Middle East. His entire professional career has been spent in the broadcasting industry, starting over 40 years ago working in the telerecording department at the BBC Television Centre. Later a period at the BBC research department saw contributions to the development of electronic standards conversion, and the design of the first ever practical high-speed analogue to digital conversion equipment for the television signal in the early 1960's.
Lecturing on many television and recording related topics world–wide, his travels have taken him to all quarters of the globe including most of Eastern Europe. Other business activities extend to interests in a small company developing and exploiting research into advanced magneto-optical applications.
He lives in Newbury, United Kingdom.

Hassan Ghoul is the Managing Director of MediaNet Fz-LLC and the Director of Business Development for Ascent Media Systems & Technology Services.
After graduating from the American University in Beirut in 1975 with a BE in Electrical Engineering, Hassan joined COMSIP Entreprises in Paris, France, as Systems Engineer within the IT Projects Department. He then worked with 3M Middle East as Technical Sales & Marketing Supervisor for 3M's Power & Telecommunication products.
Hassan joined Sony in February 1984, occupying various sales and marketing positions in the Middle East and Africa, advancing into the position of General Manager, Sales, in charge of Sony's sales and Systems Integration operations in the Middle East. In May 2005, Hassan founded MediaNet Fz-LLC in Dubai Media City, which specializes in Consultancy and Systems Integration Services for the broadcast, satellite, production and post-production markets in the Middle East and North Africa regions.
Hassan is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and speaks fluent Arabic, French and English. He is married and has two sons.

He has more than 15 years experience in managing technology trade associations and in technology event management. He is a Vice Chair of the UK Electronics Alliance and he is a member of the Partners Board of the International Broadcasting Convention (IBC).

Kevan Jones started his television career as a youthful presenter on the Which? Business TV show screened on South African television back in 1978. Shortly thereafter, he launched AV Specialist magazine and for the last 18 years he's played the dual role of publisher and editor of the magazine. He's an associate member of the South African Society of Cinematographers and a board member of the Middle East Communications Industries Association, a not-for-profit trade association that promotes professional standards and industry certification within the Middle East's broadcast and professional AV industry. He's also a member of the international judging panel for the IBC Innovation Awards and has earned the Infocomm CTS credential - committing himself to truth, accuracy and excellence in the professional AV market.

As Director of Technology for Showtime Mike has responsibility for all technology and broadcast operations for the platform, from the broadcast and satellite operations and projects through to conditional access, set-top boxes and IT as well as the company's technology strategy. Before joining Showtime Mike spent 18 years at the BBC in the UK in various technology and business roles ranging from Head of Operations for BBC World Service and Head of Strategy for BBC Technology to his last role as Head of Technology Support for BBC News.

Wayne Heads is a radio and television development consultant based in New Zealand. He formerly worked in Malaysia as the Director, Technical Department of the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union, during the period July 2002 – June 2007. The ABU's Technical Department delivers technical services to ABU members, including overall broadcast industry technology development updates, future industry directions, standardisation and spectrum development issues, workshops and industry events ranging from training to implementation issues associated with the digitalisation of radio and television now broadcasting over the many distribution platforms available to the industry.
Wayne's early career was with the Broadcasting Corporation of New Zealand, mostly in radio and television broadcast transmission development and operations, followed by executive management positions within the TVNZ subsidiary BCL (now known as Kordia). Prior to moving Malaysia he was a Senior Consultant with Amos Aked Swift (NZ) Ltd where he worked as a broadcast and telecommunications consultant to the industry in New Zealand and the Asia-Pacific region.
Wayne graduated from New Zealand's Canterbury University in 1975 with a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering.
