Digital IF is the technology that bridges the gap between the traditional analogue RF distribution of the past and the digital ground station of the future. ETL's Genus Digital samples analogue signals from multiple sources and transports them as IP packets on a single fibre for reconstruction at another location. This is sometimes known as 'RF over IP'.
