- Satellite & Space Tech
For over three decades, ATDI has supported leading broadcasters and satellite providers. Our flagship RF planning software HTZ Communications, helps broadcasters design and optimise TV and radio networks. During the digital switchover, HTZ provided essential support for coverage analysis, SFN/MFN interference mitigation, and automated frequency assignment. HTZ supports all broadcast technologies including DVB-T/T2, DVB-S/S2, ISDB-T, DTMB, T-DAB/DAB+/DMB, ATSC 3.0, FM and IBOC, as well as other radio systems like MW backhaul and UAVs. HTZ features advanced satellite network planning functions for GSO/non-GSO satellite operators, supporting functions like GSO/non-GSO satellite coverage planning and link budgets, wide-beam and HTS-beam planning across all satellite frequency bands, automated site planning, optimisation and frequency planning and coexistence and satellite coordination. Its advanced interference capabilities allow it to model interference from GSO v GSO and non-GSO. Users can connect and import from ITU SRS databases and TLE files. HTZ supports all satellite services including FSS, BSS, MSS, Earth-exploration and meteorological. Users can access a comprehensive cartographic database of high to medium-resolution DTM, clutter and 3D buildings (major cities only) as part of their maintenance contract.
