Grigory Lavrov
Leads local brands and channels in the region including Turkish FTA channel TLC and DMAX as well as the leading Arab food brand Fatafeat in the Middle East.
Based in Istanbul, Grigory Lavrov is responsible for trade marketing in CEE & MENAT across WBD channel portfolio. He also leads local brands and channels in the region including Turkish FTA channel TLC and DMAX as well as the leading Arab food brand Fatafeat in the Middle East.
Grigory joined Discovery in 2011 as a marketing manager for North East Europe. In 2012, he was appointed Channel Director, and in 2015 he was promoted to Senior Channel Director for Discovery Networks in North East Europe. From 2016 to 2022 Grigory was Discovery’s Country Manager for Russia.
Before joining Discovery, Grigory worked in the publishing business as marketing and brand manager for several magazines.
