Mr Jack Buechler is the Chief Commercial Officer of Quika. He has over 30 years of sales and marketing experience in IT and telecommunications. Mr. Buechler’s current role includes defining the marketing and product strategy as well as working with major global customers to deliver commercially viable complex integrated telecommunications projects.
His past and current projects include sales and marketing of complex multi-site fibre, microwave and satellite hub systems in Ka, Ku and C bands, integration of broadband satellite systems, trunked VSAT services, terrestrial fibre services, VoIP service integration, Trunk VoIP systems and integrated GSM satellite systems.
Mr Buechler’s current position is at Quika, a top-tier network provider in the Middle East, Africa, America and Europe. Quika is known as a market leader and expert in satellite, voice, video and broadband solutions with their own WTA tier 3 certified teleport facility in Germany.
Prior to working at Quika, Mr Buechler has served in senior management level positions at Loral Cyberstar and Orion Network Systems (now Telesat), Kingston Inmedia (Now Arqiva), and Advantech Wireless (Now Spacebridge). In these roles, he was instrumental in developing new regions for commoditised satellite VSAT internet access and developing the role of sales channel partners in the EMEA region. In 2018 Talia introduced Quika, the first free broadband by satellite to the end-user as an innovative way to widen internet access.
Mr Buechler defined the initial role of the Global VSAT Forum (GVF). In 2017, GVF presented Mr Buechler with an award ‘In grateful recognition of your leadership, vision and the establishment of the Global VSAT Forum’.
Mr Buechler has a computer engineering diploma from the University of Middlesex and a post-graduate diploma from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, London, UK.
