Joakim Espeland is the CEO of QuadSAT, a Danish company that has developed brand new tools and techniques for testing and calibrating satellite antennas. He has 14 years of experience working in the satcom industry, having started as a satellite technician, and then as a service engineer. In 2017, he co-founded QuadSAT with Andrian Buchi. QuadSAT began as a University project in which he and Andrian explored how drones could be effectively used for satellite antenna testing. Today QuadSAT employs around 30 fulltime employees and continues to grow as the need for antenna testing increases.
