As the Operations Director of Dubai Film and TV Commission, Saeed al Janahi is one of the most familiar faces among the leadership cadres of Dubai’s media and entertainment community. Starting with Dubai Studio City, Saeed’s professional success is intertwined with the industry’s trajectory of growth toward the globally prestigious status it has achieved. Saeed has played a crucial role in launching and advancing many essential services of Dubai Studio City, Dubai Media City, and Dubai Film and TV Commission. 

From Hollywood to Bollywood, as countless stars and giants of the entertainment industry flocked to the opportunities crafted by Dubai, Saeed has been the catalyst making sure all stakeholders get the best results. During the nine-month whirlwind production schedule of Paramount’s Star Trek Beyond (2016), those who received Saeed’s day-to-day care and on-ground support included producer J. J. Abrams, director Justin Lin, and a top cast of Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana, and Simon Pegg. Saeed fondly remembers supporting other movies and world-class actors such as Gerard Butler in Geostorm (2017), Jackie Chan in Kung Fu Yoga (2017) and Vanguard (2020), Shah Rukh Khan in Happy New Year (2014), and Salman Khan in Partner (2007), to name a few. 

Drawing his motivation from the visionary leadership of his homeland, Saeed says he has made it his guiding principle to live by HH Sheikh Mohammed al Maktoum’s wise sayings on serving humanity through perfection. Saeed finds himself always seeking knowledge and helping others altruistically, invaluable character traits for which he is eternally grateful to his parents.  

Saeed feels his youthful energy and stamina have a lot to do with being an avid biker in his spare time. Of all his adventures on wheels, Saeed particularly cherished his participation in the Year of Zayed Tour of 7 countries and 14 cities.
